Terms and responsible resource sharing

Who the service is for
ClassConnect is an independent education service operated by Guy Williams from Australia for people aged 13 and over. Use an account you are authorised to use and follow your school or teacher's rules. Do not share account access or use class join codes without permission.
These terms explain permitted use of the service. They do not exclude rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including Australian consumer law.
Respect copyright and sharing permissions
Only upload, publish or share material you created or have permission or another lawful basis to use for that particular purpose. Being able to download a file, being a student, or using it for education does not automatically permit redistribution.
You retain any rights you have in your own material. Choosing to share or publish instructs ClassConnect to store and process that material and make it accessible through the selected feature to the people permitted to use it. Do not imply a licence or ownership permission you do not have.
Other users must respect the resource's stated terms and applicable law. Do not remove attribution, resell resources without permission, upload paid textbooks or exam papers without appropriate rights, or treat AI screening as permission from a rights holder.
Protect other users
- Do not upload unnecessary identifying student information, confidential school records or sensitive personal information.
- Do not harass, threaten, impersonate people or publish abusive, discriminatory, exploitative or unlawful material.
- Do not upload malware, bypass permissions, probe another user's private records or use the service to facilitate harm.
- Do not spam, fabricate resource descriptions or manipulate advertising or download accounting.
- Do not use the service to breach examination conditions or your school's academic-integrity requirements.
Check AI and user-contributed material
Study generation, search interpretation, resource classification and publication screening may use AI. Outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. They are not professional advice, a guarantee of academic results, an antivirus scan, or a copyright clearance.
Use your own judgement, consult reliable sources and follow your teacher's guidance. ClassConnect is not affiliated with curriculum or examination authorities merely because resources refer to their subjects.
Reports and content review
Automated publication checks can block content or require review before publication. The operator can investigate reported content and apply available access or removal controls when needed to address safety, privacy, copyright or service misuse.
Contact support@classconnect.au for service or safety issues and copyright@classconnect.au for rights concerns. Include enough information to locate the material without unnecessarily repeating personal or sensitive content.
Availability, advertising and changes
Features and access depend on account permissions and effective Free or Plus entitlements. Service interruptions can occur, so keep your own copies of important work.
Google advertising and ad-based download restrictions are currently disabled. Ownership verification and an ads.txt entry do not establish approval or activate ads. Any future reward flow must comply with Google's policies and the privacy safeguards described in the notices.
We may update these terms when the service changes. The date on this page identifies the current version.
