Cookie and browser storage notice
Understand ClassConnect sign-in cookies, browser preferences, external services and current advertising status, with ways to manage browser storage.

What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small records stored by your browser and sometimes sent with requests. Local storage keeps information in the browser for a website without automatically sending it with every request. ClassConnect uses sign-in technology and functional preferences, not a home-made advertising consent cookie.
Sign-in and security
Clerk provides authentication and uses session and security technology to maintain sign-in. Actual cookie names and lifetimes depend on the deployed authentication configuration. Blocking or removing these cookies can sign you out or prevent account features from working. Hosting and security providers may also process technical request information.
Functional preferences
Removing these preferences does not delete stored quizzes, study history or other server-side account records.
- The classconnect.quiz-sounds local-storage preference remembers whether quiz sounds are enabled.
- The cc-study-session-* local-storage entries remember a selected study-session identifier for a resource.
- Local-storage preferences remain until changed, removed or cleared by your browser. They are not proof of age or advertising consent.
Fonts and other provider requests
The interface loads DM Sans and Manrope through Google Fonts. Font requests send technical connection information to Google endpoints; they are separate from AdSense. Replit and other service providers may collect technical information for service operation, security and diagnostics. See the privacy notice for the providers involved.
Advertising is currently disabled
The AdSense account meta tag verifies ownership without loading Google's advertising script. There is currently no ClassConnect Google advertising cookie or advertising consent preference to accept or reject.
If advertising is introduced, the notice and vendor disclosures must be updated for the actual integration. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies and identifiers for serving, measuring and, where permitted, personalizing ads based on visits to this and other websites.
Applicable consent controls must be provided before advertising is enabled. A generic cookie banner or local preference is not a Google-certified consent-management platform.
Managing your browser
Use your browser's site-data settings to inspect, block or clear cookies and local storage for classconnect.au. Instructions vary between browsers. Blocking sign-in storage can prevent authentication; clearing local storage can reset quiz sound and selected-session preferences.
Browser controls do not erase server-side records, establish a user's age or give ClassConnect permission to load advertising. For account-information requests, contact privacy@classconnect.au.
