What is ClassConnect?

ClassConnect is an independent Australian web platform for class resource sharing and student revision. It combines classes, the Resource Hub, My Library and optional Plus AI study tools.

Who is ClassConnect for?

ClassConnect is for students aged 13 and over, particularly Australian secondary school and VCE students who want to organise class materials, share permitted resources and revise from their own study content.

Is ClassConnect free to use?

ClassConnect has a Free tier and an optional paid ClassConnect Plus plan. Free-tier download limits apply. Plus includes AI study tools, ad-free access and unlimited Resource Hub downloads under the plan. Current subscription details are shown in Profile before purchase; the public editorial study guides need no account.

How do I create or join a class?

Sign in and open My Classes. Create a class for your group or join an existing class using its code. Access to a class and its resources depends on your membership and permissions.

What is the Resource Hub?

The Resource Hub is a signed-in area for discovering and publishing permitted educational resources. Search or filter by information such as subject, year level and curriculum, preview resources and save useful items to My Library. A class upload is not automatically a Hub publication.

What is My Library?

My Library is your signed-in collection of saved resources. Save a Hub item and return to it from My Library for future reading or revision. Access and download rules still apply to the saved resource.

Can I upload a photo from my phone?

Yes. Click an upload button, choose Upload from phone, and scan the QR code with your phone. Take or select a photo, then review and accept it on the original device. The temporary QR link only stages the photo; normal authenticated upload and publication steps still apply.

What can ClassConnect Plus AI study tools do?

Plus can generate flashcards and quizzes from eligible resources you can access, using extracted text and readable content in uploaded images. You can edit and save flashcards and return to saved study materials and sessions. AI can make mistakes, so check important information against the source.

Does ClassConnect support VCE definitions?

VCE definition-style flashcards can be reviewed against relevant official study-design guidance. The check distinguishes prescribed definitions from topics that have no single mandated wording. Review any flagged material and compare it with the current study design and your teacher's guidance. ClassConnect is not endorsed by VCAA.

Are my classes, files and study sessions public?

Private class and account areas require sign-in and enforce access permissions. Personal libraries, profiles and study sessions are not made publicly crawlable. Publishing a permitted resource to the Resource Hub is a separate, deliberate action; public product pages do not expose uploaded student files.

Do I need to install an app?

No. ClassConnect runs in a web browser on computers and phones. Use the website to sign in, access your resources and start an upload. A phone camera is useful for scanning a photo-upload QR code.

Can I share any worksheet or textbook page?

No. Only upload or publish material you are permitted to use and share. Automated screening cannot prove copyright ownership. Avoid confidential information and unnecessary student details, and follow the content-use terms.
